The Salem Inn

The Salem Inn consists of three historic homes: the West House, the Peabody House, and the Curwen House. Many rooms are named after Salem historical figures and offer working fireplaces or whirlpool baths. Select suites include a kitchenette with a stove, microwave, and refrigerator, while specific rooms like the Grand Turk Room have balconies shared with the adjacent room.

A daily made-to-order breakfast is served in an historic underground brick and granite dining room at the main inn. Guests can reserve a breakfast time and place their order via text the night before from a menu that includes waffles and omelettes. In the evening, a wine and cheese hour is offered in the courtyard, and a sherry lounge is available in the parlor.

The inn is located within walking distance of the Witch House, the Peabody Essex Museum, and the House of the Seven Gables. The property sits on Essex Street, steps from the pedestrian mall with shops and restaurants. Guests can walk to the Salem train station for trips into Boston.
